BAR/CAFETERIA AND RESTAURANT SERVICES
The bar/cafeteria is open for all our customers, for those who hace reserved guestrooms and those who just stop by for a coffee or a drink.
Our restaurant is large enough to accomodate 80-90 persons (seated) or groups on particular occasions, anniversaries, celebrations, etc.
The kitchen is supervised directly by the owners who are also the chefs. They are specialized in Italian and Friulian dishes.Mrs. Maria is a milestone for the hotel and her Upper Adige origins have influenced also her way of cooking. Some of her specials are goulash, knoedel spaetzle and not to forget her famous apple strudel. She is an expert in preparing first courses even Friulan recipes such as cjalsons, barley soup (orzotto) and the typical Friulan dish “frico” made of potatos and cheese.
.Mrs Maria together with her son Marco are specialized in home made pasta, filled “ravioli” and “bigoloni” mixed with all kinds of genuine sauces.Our dishes are based on traditional old recipes this is one of out distinctive traits.
Our cuisine follows the seasons and its harvests and uses as little fat as possible.The typical fireplace called “fogolar furlan” is where most of the food is cooked or grilled.
Upon request we prepare grillet meat, goatling (upen request), pork steak or fresh salami and sausage roasted in aluminium foil with potatoes.
In autumn we are very proud to organize a special eventcalled “Sapori di funghi” or “A taste of mushrooms”. All dishes on this occasion are preparedwith all the variety of mushrooms that can be collected in these forests. Every year this event attracts many Italians andtouristsfrom all over the regions.
Other special gastronomic events can be organized upon request.
